Whether you are a seasoned Course student or just trying ACIM for the first time, we are here for you. Community rooted ACIM classes
We are a not-for-profit organization dedicated to teaching the work of A Course in Miracles, which is a parallel path to Christianity. You must unlearn what you have learned at CCD to begin the Course, so let’s begin with a little bit of vocab. Even if you don’t become a Course student, try to see these words through the veil of the Course for the time that you are here.
Vocab
God- Dad, loving Creator. He is the Sun, and you are a star. A little chip off the old block. A Course student would never define a hurricane as an act of God because God is pure love & would never harm his kids. It’s only our collective egos that harm us. I’m waiting for my insurance company to catch up here.
Jesus- Wisdom teacher, collective elder brother, one of many valid ascended Masters. He represents a path to top of the Mountain via a book he wrote, by way of a channel named, A Course in Miracles, “usually referred to as ACIM or the Course”.
ACIM: What it says: Nothing real can be threatened, nothing unreal exists. That’s the Peace of God.
How it came to be: Via Course Mama Bear- Helen Schucman & Course Papa Bear- William Thetford. Two Professors of Medical Psychology at Columbia University in New York City. It arrived on the scene with the Bicentennial in 1976.
Brother: A word used in the Course to refer to all people regardless of sex. This is to give us the idea that we are all equal members of one human family. He/him in ACIM refers to whichever pronouns you prefer, but remember, words are illusions of illusions. Those looking for controversy in the Course will find it, those looking for answers will also find them.
Son of God: All of God’s children. In the work ACIM, you are a member of the Holy Trinity. That is how important you are.
Goal of the Course: Vision as in Holy Vision seeing the Capital letter C Christ in all of our Brothers. In the Course asking & forgiveness are the secret sauce that produces vision. So listen to Dad (God), and love your brothers, no exceptions.
Jess: A person who is the author of this flyer and would like to be your ACIM teacher. I must admit that I am neither scholar nor saint, I was actually quite lousy in school, truth be told.
You are a powerful Son of God capable of creating in the likeness of your Creator. But what are you creating? Do you know what you want? What you really want? Some SOG’s (Sons of God) think that they want to relate to people on the level of the body: for instance, have a perfect body, possess or be possessed by someones body, and they can be quite wrapped up on this level for a long time. Some people grasp for material goods, fame, or even find the underbelly of Spirituality. The Secret, the modern cult of self. Dig deeper kids, the gold is buried underneath the leaves. No matter what you think you want, what you really want like the prodigal son is to go home to Dad (God) and blow this pop stand because this dimension is super duper challenging place to be.
We would like to invite you to start taking classes at The MC. Where Jesus left us a clear pathway towards his vision of Heaven on Earth, where we can see clearly & love one another. 48 of the 50 miracle principles describe a miracle as an ordinary act of love. Miracle Centers should serve the communities that they are in. Sometimes a miracle is a macaroni cup.

Sunday Pep Talks - 10 AMList Item 1
Nobody wants a sermon, but everybody likes a pep talk because this world can be a hard place to be. Every Sunday we explore one theme that relates to the work of ACIM. Children are permitted at our Sunday Pep talks with parental supervision.

Tuesday Text Classes - 10 AMList Item 2
We walk through A Course in Miracles, chapter by chapter including information from the Urtext and original shorthand notes. Reading the text before class is suggested but not required. Our classes are intended for an adult audience. Doors open 15 minutes before all classes except on Fridays. All of our classes are one hour in length.

Wednesday Workbook - 10 AMList Item 3
The rubber hits the road on Wednesday! You can’t know what a car is like unless you take it for a drive. Likewise, you don’t know how much love and peace ACIM can bring into your life until you try living the Course by practicing the workbook. On Wednesdays we break down the workbook lessons that we have been practicing the previous week including today’s lesson.

Friday Happy Hour - 5 PMList Item 4
Here is open forum conversation where you can ask Course questions that are not relevant to this week’s class topics, talk about miracles witnessed, or experiences living the Course. You can also make prayer requests at this time. On Fridays our doors open at 4 pm and class starts at 5. Come early and hang out. Our doors close early that day, 15 minutes after class ends.
