-perception vs. knowledge

  When you attack someone, you are saying he is limited by your perception. Perception has focus. Change the focus and what you see changes as well. If you see your brother's sins, you magnify your own. Do not seek long range goals. Do not seek fantasies. The eyes of Christ are our own. We are practicing for Holy Vision.

Workbook 182: I call upon God's name and my own.

          Christ is our last name. It comes from our Father and is shared by all of our siblings. This is true even if the world doesn't recognize it yet. God's name can't be said without response. You call the angels down to shelter you. Repeat God's name and all of the world responds. A star is mentioned here, a star is the sign of ACIM.  Repeat the name of God and little names lose their meaning. Idols lose their meaning, God replaces them. You call upon your own Christ self. An invitation to God will never be turned down. And when you are calling for an idol you are really calling for God. His kids are one with him, this is an all encompassing idea.
